KTR holds Govt responsible for death of Sircilla weaver, demands Rs 25 lakh compensation

HYDERABAD: BRS working president KTR said that another weaver died in Sircilla due to the failure of the Congress Government.

Expressing shock over the death by suicide of Palle Yadagari a weaver from Sircilla, KTR said that his death was not by suicide but a murder committed by the Government. He said that the handloom sector was driven into a crisis during the regime of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

“The support given to the handloom sector during the BRS regime has been stopped halfway, which is sounding the death knell for the sector,” he said. He demanded that the Government pay Rs. 25 lakh as compensation to the bereaved family.
