KTR inaugurates Nizamabad’s IT Tower, Nalgonda and Adilabad next

NIZAMABAD: IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated the IT Tower in Nizamabad on Wednesday. Fifteen companies commenced their operations at the 55,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility.

The Minister also inaugurated Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) Centre and RGUKT Basara's Innovation Hub aimed at empowering youngsters in enhancing their skills and fostering innovation.

“IT hub reflects the dreams and aspirations of the youth. This will be a stepping stone for those who want to work in Hyderabad or in America,” KTR said after inaugurating the IT Tower.

He informed that the IT Tower built at a cost of Rs 50 crore provided employment to 1500 young persons. He urged them to polish their skills so that they would one day provide employment to many more talented professionals.

The IT Minister said that the NAC building and a hostel were also built at a cost of Rs 11 crore for the benefit of Diploma, ITI, and SSC students. “For you, we have refurbished the Municipal office at a cost of Rs seven crore. I tell you this is the best municipal office in entire Telangana, the IT Minister said.

The Minister who had his lunch along with the municipal workers, informed them that the local Raghunadha Chervu was developed on the lines of Tank Bund and three ‘Vaikuntadhamams’ were built at a cost of Rs 15.50 crore.

Enhancing the IT landscape in tier-II and tier-III towns in Telangana, IT Towers in Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Siddipet and Mahbubnagar become functional. Soon, the IT Tower in Nalgonda would be inaugurated and approval was received for an IT Tower in Adilabad.

Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP KR Suresh Reddy, MLAs Bajireddy Govardhan, Bigala Ganesh, Ashannagari Jeevan Reddy, Shakil Aamir Mohammed and Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of Industries & Commerce Department were also present at the inaugural.
