KTR slams Revanth Reddy for insluting Telangana's pride

HYDERABAD: BRS working president KT Rama Rao said there was no comparison between the "Golden Telangana Model" and the "Golmal Gujarat Model".

In an interesting post on the micro-blogging site 'X', KTR took to poetry to condemn Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for lacking Telangana's "Aatma" (soul) and "Gauravam" (pride) in Telangana. He alleged that the 'soul-less' Revanth Reddy tried to hurt the self-esteem of Telangana with his remarks in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by promising to emulate the "Gujarat Model". He said it was highly unfortunate that someone like Revanth Reddy, who did not value Telangana's self-respect and pride, was heading the State as the Chief Minister.

He said Revanth Reddy preferred the communal ‘Godhra Riots’ model, which spreads hatred in the name of religion, over the inclusive and harmonious ‘Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb’ model, which represents communal harmony and peace.

He pointed out that Revanth Reddy criticised the Gujarat model but praised it when offered a seat next to Modi. He said the Telangana model stood for welfare, inclusive, and integrated development. He said this model was liked by the entire country and emulated by many states.

He condemned Revanth Reddy for hurting the sentiments of four crore people of Telangana and surrendering their self-respect at Modi's feet.

Stating that history would not forgive such actions, he said the people of Telangana would not tolerate attacks on their self-respect. He said that the BRS had taken Telangana's self-respect to the skies, but the Congress attempted to bury it underground.
