Taking to Twitter, Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) condemned the derogatory comments made by one of the BRS MLAs on Finance and Health Minister T Harish Rao for denying a ticket to his family member. “I not only strongly condemn the MLA’s behaviour and also want to make it clear that we all stand with Harish Rao. He has been an integral founding member of the BRS party since its inception and will continue to remain an important pillar of the party as we move forward.” KTR said.

BJP MP from Nizamabad Arvind Dharmapuri said,“KCR’s decision to contest for two Assembly constituencies is an insult to the people who had elected him from Gajwel. It means KCR has no faith in people from his own constituency. I will contest in Gajwel and defeat KCR.” Reacting to the first list of the BRS candidates, Arvind said that he was confident that the BJP would win all the seven Assembly constituencies in Nizamabad district.

Suspended BJP MLA from Goshamahal Raja Singh took strong exception to KCR for not announcing his party candidate from Goshamahal. He alleged that KCR was waiting for a candidate to contest in Goshamahal and that would be finalised by the AIMIM. Raja Singh said that in 2018 also, KCR had announced Prem Singh’s candidature at the last minute and spent crores of rupees to emerge victorious in the constituency. A similar mandate would be given by the people of this constituency to the BJP in the coming elections as given during the 2018 elections, he said.
