KTR's sarcastic tweet on Telangana govt's Seoul Riverfront study team

HYDERABAD: In a sarcastic tweet, BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao took a jibe at the Telangana government for sending a 20-member team to Seoul, South Korea, to study riverfront development.

KTR mockingly congratulated the government for sending "experts" on the trip, though the delegation mostly consists of journalists, with no relevant experts in fields like environmental science or hydrology.

The team, which is set to visit Seoul from October 21 to 24, includes Congress MP Ch. Kiran Kumar, MLA Kale Yadaiah, Special Commissioner for I&PR M. Hanumantha Rao, Director of Media and Communications Karri Sriram, and 16 journalists from various newspapers and TV channels. KTR sarcastically stated that he was sure the team would return with "excellent results" and justify the government's proposed spending of Rs 1.5 lakh crore on riverfront projects.
