HYDERABAD: A husband lodged a complaint with the Human Rights Commission against his wife accusing her of threatening and harassing him. As per the complaint, Roopsingh from Hyderabad was married to a woman from Mahbubnagar in 2016 and the couple were blessed with a son in 2020.

When Roopsingh went to his in-law's house recently to take his wife and son with him, he was attacked by his wife, mother-in-law and another woman. Roopsingh approached the police with a complaint but there was no response and hence he moved the Human Rights Commission alleging that there was a life threat to him from his wife and in-laws.

Against this backdrop, the commission has issued orders that he could take care of his wife and children and directed him to approach the police station in the village if he suspects any threat from his wife.
