Man trapped in Kamareddy cave for over 30 hours, rescue ops underway

HYDERABAD: In a spine-chilling incident that happened in Kamareddy district on Tuesday, a man fell into a cave in the Serilingampally forest area, and as of Thursday afternoon, has been stuck in the cave for over 30 hours.
According to details, Chada Raju was out for a walk in the first area and was talking on his mobile phone when it slipped and fell between the rocks. Raju, in an attempt to get his phone back, accidentally slipped and fell too.
He stayed trapped for one full day and on Wednesday, his family members and locals, while trying to look for him, heard his help-screams and located him. After a few failed hours of them trying to rescue Raju, they alerted the police.
The police started rescue operations with JCB cranes. They supplied water and ORS to the man and were continuing efforts to rescue him.
