Medaram Jatara: Revanth Reddy launches online service for offering jaggery to Samakka-Sarakka

The Chief Minster himself made an offering in the name of his Grandson Riyansh. Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy also made the online offering in the name of his granddaughter.

HYDERABAD: In some good news for devotees of Samakka-Sarakka, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday launched the online offering of 'Niluvethu Bangaram' (offering of Jaggery equal to a person's weight) service as part of the ongoing Medaram Jatara. The Chief Minister started the online programme at the Assembly Committee Hall.

Ministers Konda Surekha, Ponnam Prabhakar, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Damodara Raja Narsimha, MLAs, chief secretary Santhi Kumari, revenue department commissioner Anil Kumar and other officials were present.

The State Government is providing the facility of offering Niluvettu Bangaram online to devotees who cannot attend the Jatara physically.
