HYDERABAD: With the by-election for the Munugode constituency likely in a couple of months, the BJP is making all-out efforts to register a victory. The BJP, which is determined to set its foot South Telangana either by hook or by crook, has sensed the defeat due to the lack of strength at the ground level and anti-incumbency against the sitting MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy.

As a result, it is resorting to filing ED cases against leaders of the TRS.

Despite major setbacks in winning over the people's hearts, the BJP doesn't want to leave any stone unturned and is going ahead in all possible ways to corner the TRS.

It is allegedly using the central investigations to target the ruling party MLAs in the state. The recent ED raids on the TRS leaders gave a hint that the BJP is not going to leave the battle and give the TRS a run for its money.

As part of the alleged BJP's strategy to weaken the ruling party MLAs, it has targetted Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, Ibrahimpatnam MLA, who is actively working for the TRS victory in the by-election in Munugode constituency.

There are also allegations from the ruling TRS that the BJP is filing ED cases against the crucial leaders of Telangana Rashtra Samithi as it could not counter the mighty KCR politically. They attribute the ED investigation on Manchireddy Kishan Reddy to creating hurdles for the campaign in Munugode.

However, TRS leaders slammed the BJP over its "filthy politics" and asserted that they are not afraid of the ED, and CBI investigations. They expressed confidence that they would register a massive victory in Munugode and teach a befitting lesson to BJP.
