MLC Kavitha tests positive for COVID-19
Kalvakuntla Kavitha, TRS MLC and daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday
HYDERABAD: Kalvakuntla Kavitha, TRS MLC and daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. She had been experiencing cold and cough over the last few days following which she underwent the test for Coronavirus. The test result came positive, prompting her to tweet about it on her official Twitter handle.
She asked all those who met her in the recent past to get themselves tested.
"After developing flu like symptoms, I got myself tested for COVID-19 and my reports are positive. I request everybody who has come in contact with me in the last 48 hours to kindly isolate and get yourself tested, if you develop any symptoms," read her tweet.
Incidentally, her elder brother and Telangana IT Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) was also afflicted with the disease recently. His tests revealed mild symptoms of COVID-19. He subsequently recovered from it completely and came out of home isolation.
