NIRMAL: Opposing the BRS Government's initiative to open IT parks for Muslim youth in Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the BJP opposes such appeasement politics.

Addressing an election campaign meeting in Nirmal on Sunday, the Prime Minister criticised Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for bringing religion into technology. “Faith-based IT parks are a disrespect to the Constitution of India and its creator Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar,” he pointed out.

Exuding confidence that the BJP would form Government in Telangana, Narendra Modi said that the Chief Minister of the State rested in his farmhouse by handing over the steering of his Government to the Majlis.

“While Modi is out on the streets to put shelter over the heads of the poor, the KCR Government denied the poor 2.5 lakh houses granted by the Centre. The KCR who rests in his farmhouse wasted the taxpayers' money by not delivering those houses to the poor,” the PM said. He assured the public that the BJP Government, after coming to power in Telangana, would distribute houses to the poor.

He promised that the BJP if voted to power, would declare Nizamabad as a turmeric city and grant a GI tag to Armoor turmeric. He also said that the Government would start a special mission to popularise toys made in Nirmal.

Accusing the BRS and the Congress of discriminating against tribals, the Prime Minister said that both parties opposed the BJP’s proposal to make Droupadi Murmu the President of India. “The BJP-led Centre launched Rs 24,000 crore PM Janman Abhiyan, established an ST Ministry, allocated 5 percent budget for the development of STs, and is setting up a tribal university in Telangana,” he said.

He said that the BJP, if voted to power, would scrap ‘Dharani’ which was used to grab land, and replace it with Mee Bhoomi. “The next five years are crucial for the growth of Telangana. So don’t waste it by electing the BRS. Bring a double government for double the growth,” Narendra Modi said.
