Mulugu Police display heroism, compassion; carry drowned youth's body on their shoulders
Mulugu police displayed remarkable bravery and compassion in rescuing the drowned body of Rohit during the Sammakka Saralamma Jathara in Medaram.
MULUGU: In a commendable display of courage and compassion, the Mulugu police executed a daring act by successfully retrieving the body of Rohit from Jampanna Vagu after a two-hour search. Rohit, who had travelled from Hyderabad to attend the Sammakka Saralamma Jathara in Medaram, tragically drowned while swimming.
Undeterred by the challenging terrain, the police, led by CCSC CI Srinivas and other officers, not only fished out the body from the waters near Dayyala Madugu but also exhibited exceptional humanity by carrying it on their shoulders. The forest's inaccessibility to vehicles underscored the police's commitment to their duty and their compassionate response to the grieving family.
The victim's parents and higher officials expressed their heartfelt appreciation for this remarkable act of bravery and humanity.
