Municipal workers in Nirmal stage one-leg protest demanding release of pending salaries

NIRMAL: Municipal workers in Nirmal district staged a unique protest by standing on one leg, demanding the release of their pending salaries. The workers claimed they had not received their wages for the past eight months and faced severe financial hardships.

Gathered at the district centre, the municipal workers urged the authorities to take immediate action and release their dues without further delay. They expressed frustration over the prolonged delay, stating that they have been struggling to make ends meet and that the festive season has added to their financial burden.

The workers emphasised that they had been diligently performing their duties despite the lack of payment and called upon the government to address their grievances as soon as possible.
