HYDERABAD: The Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Recruitment Board (TREIRB) has released a notification, inviting applications for filling up 9,213 vacant posts in residential (Gurukul) educational institutions across the state in various categories.

According to the notification released on Wednesday, the board would fill up 868 lecturer, physical director and librarian posts in residential degree colleges besides 2,008 junior lecturer, physical director and librarian posts in residential junior colleges.

Apart from degree and junior colleges, the TREIRB also geared up to recruit 1,276 post-graduate teachers, 434 librarians, 275 physical directors, 134 drawing and art teachers, 92 craft Instructors and craft teachers, 124 music teachers and 4,020 graduate teachers in residential (Gurukul) schools across the state.

The TREIRB in the notification said that online submission of the application would be allowed from April 12. The TREIRB has advised the students to visit the official website of the recruitment board www.treirb.telangana.gov.in for more details.

Meanwhile, Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao has shared a snippet of the notification thanking Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for bringing reforms in the education sector by providing quality education to the students besides equipping the schools and colleges with infrastructure on par with private institutions.

He claimed that the BRS government, since its inception, had enhanced the number of residential schools and colleges from 123 to 1,011.
