One coal miner killed in accident at GDK-11 incline mine in Singareni

HYDERABAD: An LHD (Load Haul Dump) operator named Pratap was killed in an accident at the Singareni GDK-11 coal mine during the early hours of Thursday.

Pratap was seriously injured when the LHD machine hit him during the excavation of coal. The staff rushed him to the hospital where he was declared dead. Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Singareni Area Hospital for post-mortem.

Pratap’s co-workers said the deceased was a native of Pannuru village in Ramagiri mandal. Full details of the incident are yet to be known.
