HYDERABAD: A late-night confrontation occurred in Nalgonda district when passengers stopped RTC officials from checking women’s Aadhar cards during a bus journey. The incident took place around 11 p.m. in Chinna Tummalagudem village, Narketpally Mandal.

According to reports, RTC officials halted the bus and began checking the Aadhar cards of women passengers. This sparked frustration among the passengers, who questioned why the bus was stopped so late at night. Some women reportedly expressed their anger, stating, "We don’t need your free bus or anything else," and criticised the officials for the disruption.

The RTC officials reportedly became upset with the passengers' protests. However, when the passengers threatened to escalate the matter to the attention of Sajjanar, the managing director of TSRTC, the officials backed off and left the scene.
