PM Modi to launch works worth Rs 15,718-Cr in Telangana, to launch CARO centre in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his two-day visit to Telangana on March 4 and 5, 2024 will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay foundation stones of multiple development projects worth more than Rs. 15,718 crore in Hyderabad, Adilabad, and Sangareddy.
On March 4, 2024, the PM will dedicate NTPC’s 800 MW (Unit-2) Telangana Super Thermal Power Project in Peddapalli. Based on ultra-supercritical technology, the project will supply 85 percent of power to Telangana with the highest power generation efficiency of 42 percent. The foundation for this unit was also laid by the Prime Minister.
On March 5, 2024, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the Rs 350 crore Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) Centre at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad to upgrade and enhance the research and development activities in the civil aviation sector.
In Sangareddy
Later he will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth Rs. 6,800 crore in Sangareddy.
• Foundation stone for three National Highway projects.
• Foundation for four laning of 40-km long Kandi to Ramsanpalle section of NH-161.
• Will inaugurate the upgradation of the 47-km long Miryalaguda to Kodad Section of NH-167 to two lanes with paved shoulders.
• Foundation stone for the six-laning of the 29-km long Pune-Hyderabad Section of NH-65.
• Inaugurate, doubling, and electrification of Sanathnagar - Moula Ali rail line along with six new station buildings.
• Flag-off the inaugural MMTS Train Service from Ghatkesar - Lingampalli via Moula Ali - Sanathnagar.
• Inaugurate the 1,212 km IndianOil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline.
The PM will also address a public meeting in Sangareddy.
