Stating that crops were damaged in around 35,000 acres, the minister said that the farmers would be given financial assistance of Rs 10,000 per acre, as promised by the chief minister. He expressed concern over the loss of crops despite implementing the Rythu Bandhu and providing quality electricity and proposed the idea of advancing the second crop season by a month so that the rains would not affect the crops.
