Rainwater brings traffic on National Highway in Warangal district to halt

WARANGAL: Vehicular movement was interrupted on the National Highway following a breach in Rampur lake in Dharmasagar mandal in Hanamkonda district due to incessant rains on Thursday.

Telangana Minister for Women and Child Welfare Satyavathi Rathod, who was on her way to review the flood situation in Bhupalpally district from Hyderabad, stopped her vehicle near Rampur and examined the flood situation.

On the occasion, Satyavathi Rathod interacted with the locals and motorists and inquired about the conditions there. She advised motorists to be alert till the flood recedes and people should avoid crossing the roads, risking their lives.
