While coming to the MBBS seats, out of the total 150 MBBS seats in Ramagundam Medical College, 23 seats are allocated to the All India Quota and among the remaining 127 MBBS seats, five percent equivalent to 7 seats were reserved for the children of Singareni employees. However, it is noted that the SC, ST, and BC reservations will also be considered while allocating the seats based on merit in the NEET examination.

The decision seems to have come after several appeals from Singareni employees and the orders were issued on Thursday. The Singareni employees welcomed the government decision and thanked Chief Minister KCR on this occasion.
