Revanth Reddy accepts Chandrababu Naidu's invitation, proposes a one-on-one meeting on July 6

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has accepted an invitation from his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Nara Chandrababu Naidu for a one-on-one meeting. He suggested that the meeting be held on July 6 in the afternoon at the Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule Bhavan in Hyderabad.

In a letter on Tuesday, Revanth Reddy expressed his gratitude to Chandrababu Naidu for his warm letter and congratulated him on his recent victory in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh. He praised Chandrababu Naidu for joining a rare league of political leaders in independent India who have taken oath as Chief Minister for a fourth time.

Revanth Reddy emphasised the importance of resolving all pending issues of the Bifurcation Act through an in-person meeting. He highlighted the necessity of building a strong foundation for mutual cooperation and exchanging ideas to serve the people of both states better.

The Telangana Chief Minister also acknowledged the need for a face-to-face discussion between the Chief Ministers of the two Telugu states, agreeing with Chandrababu Naidu’s reflections on the matter. He expressed his eagerness to engage in meaningful dialogue to ensure the well-being and progress of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

In his letter, Revanth Reddy reiterated his commitment to the people of Telangana and extended an official invitation to Chandrababu Naidu for a tete-a-tete meeting on July 6.
