Revanth Reddy seeks funds for Musi riverfront, Metro Rail projects from New Development Bank
The Chief Minister requested the bank for funds to support the second phase Metro Rail project in Hyderabad, construction of hospitals, hostel buildings of educational institutions.
HYDERABAD: New Development Bank (NDB) director general Dr DJ Pandian called on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Thursday. Revanth Reddy said that the State Government had prepared plans to take up the Musi rejuvenation project by developing the Musi Riverfront area. Besides preserving the river and stabilising water flow, the Chief Minister said that the Musi river development project would be executed at high standards to benefit locals.

"The Government will also give priority to a pollution free environment without distributing the natural resources in the execution of riverfront development project," Revanth said.
The Chief Minister requested the bank for funds to support the second phase Metro Rail project in Hyderabad, establish institutes to provide training and technical skills, financial assistance for the construction of hospitals, hostel buildings of educational institutions, housing projects being undertaken by the State Government and also for the establishment of waste treatment plants. Pandian said that the NDB would contribute to the development of the State.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Batti Vikramarka, Ministers N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Seshadri, Finance Special Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, CM Special Secretary Ajith Reddy and bank representatives participated in this meeting.
