Revanth Reddy to hold review on Praja Palana and launch website for scrutiny

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to hold a high-level review meeting on Monday at Dr. BR Ambedkar's secretariat. The purpose of the meeting is to assess the findings of the public administration conducted between the 28th of the previous month and the 6th of the current month and determine the next steps to be taken.

Several key figures will be in attendance, including State Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, State Ministers, State Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, as well as Special Chief Secretaries, and Nodal Officers specially appointed for the 10 districts. Additionally, the CGG Director General and GHMC Commissioner will also participate in the meeting.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister will launch the website "prajapalana.telangaana.gov.in," which has been specially designed to enhance public governance. This website will serve as a platform to streamline public administration processes and facilitate better governance in the state.

Meanwhile, the government received a total of 1,25,84,383 applications within ten days for public administration. Out of these, 1,05,91,636 applications were made for five guarantees (public services) and 19,92,747 for other services.

Prajapalana gram sabhas (public meetings) were organized in 16,392 gram panchayats (village councils) and 710 municipal wards of the state. A total of 1,11,46,293 people participated in these gram sabhas. In order to manage this public administration, a total of 3,714 authority groups were involved and set up 44,568 counters for receiving applications.

To ensure the smooth running of this administration, a senior IAS officer has been appointed as a special supervisor for each of the ten joint districts and five zones of the GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation). The Collectors responsible have been instructed to complete the data entry of all these applications by January 17.
