HYDERABAD: A significant section of Nala Road near Chaknawadi in Goshamahal sagged early Wednesday morning, disrupting traffic but fortunately resulting in no injuries.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in front of a plywood shop on the road leading from Darussalam to Chaknawadi.
According to local residents, the sagging is likely due to the old Nala beneath the road, which had weakened over time. They noted that a similar incident had occurred previously, just 200 meters away from this spot, where several people were injured.
Fortunately, as the incident occurred during the early hours, there was no traffic, and a major accident was avoided. Upon receiving the information, officials arrived at the site and worked to clear the traffic. The authorities are assessing the situation and further details are awaited.
