Rouse Avenue Court remands BRS MLC K Kavitha to Judicial custody in Tihar Jail till April 9
Special CBI judge Kaveri Baweja of Rouse Avenue Courts here on Tuesday remanded K Kavitha to judicial custody till April 9 in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy scam case.
NEW DELHI: Special CBI judge Kaveri Baweja of Rouse Avenue Courts here on Tuesday remanded Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K Kavitha to judicial custody till April 9 in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy scam case. She will be sent to Tihar Jail where she will be lodged till the end of her judicial custody.
Kavitha was earlier remanded to ED custody till March 23 which was extended to further three days. On Tuesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) requested that Kavitha be sent to judicial custody.
The BRS leader and daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was arrested from her Hyderabad home on March 15 by the ED after the agency and the Income Tax department conducted searches at her Hyderabad residence.
