Rs 263 cr disbursed to 1.49 lakh farmers on day 7 of Rythu Bandhu

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Government, on Wednesday, disbursed Rs 263.71 crore into the accounts of 1.49 lakh farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme.

The 10th phase of the scheme, which was launched on December 28, released funds for 5,27,435 acres on the seventh day.

In this round of Rythu Bandhu fund distribution, Rs 4,031 crore were disbursed in seven days benefitting 53 lakh farmers of Telangana.

Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said that in the 10th phase, a total of Rs 7,676 crore would be distributed to 70.5 lakh farmers of the State to support the farmers in the Rabi crop season.
