While a few leaders are pressing the party high command to select their successors, the Congress has to decide whether to give tickets to leaders or their wards. Infact, both the Komatireddy brothers are asking the All India Congress Committee (AICC) leadership to give tickets to their kin though they did not file applications.

Komatireddy Venkata Reddy's daughter Srinidhi is keen on contesting from Nalgonda though she did not apply. MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy’s wife too is eyeing Bhongir seat apart from Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is a close confidant of Revanth Reddy.

Senior leader K Jana Reddy sought Nalgonda ticket for his son K Raghuveer Reddy. If denied, he too might enter the fray.

Patel Ramesh Reddy is another aspirant after he was denied the Suryapet Assembly ticket.

There is a rumor that former MLA Jagga Reddy's wife is interested in the Medak seat but she hasn't filed an application. Similarly, Chennur MLA Vivek Venkataswamy is seeking ticket for his son.
