HYDERABAD: In response to the heavy rains and potential flooding across Telangana, a special control room has been established at the state Secretariat to monitor the situation closely.
Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari announced the setup during a teleconference with district collectors on Saturday, highlighting the government's commitment to ensuring efficient coordination and prompt action during this critical period.
The Disaster Management Department manages the control room, located in Room No. 34 on the ground floor of the Secretariat. It has been equipped to continuously oversee weather conditions and flooding across the state. The control room will also serve as a central hub for communication with district collectors, providing them with the necessary support and guidance.
