HYDERABAD: Telangana State Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy on Wednesday urged the political parties, especially the opposition parties, not to create confusion among the students with paper leakage conspiracies for political gains.

Speaking about the SSC question paper leakage in Tandur and Warangal, the Minister said that it was the handiwork of some people owing allegiance to the BJP. She said it was done only to malign the reputation of the BRS government and confuse the students. The minister, who responded to the Hindi paper leakage on Tuesday in Warangal, said that accused Prashanth made 144 phone calls in two hours after making the news of the Hindi paper leak viral in the media.

Sabitha Indra Reddysaid that there were other issues for opposition parties to corner the government instead of playing with the lives of students. She said that they were conducting the SSC examinations with a lot of care and warned of severe action against those who resort to circulation of the question papers.

Meanwhile, there is a tense atmosphere across the state following the arrest of Telangana state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar over his alleged involvement in the SSC Hindi paper leakage case.
