Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Sridhar Babu briefed the media about the Cabinet's decisions.

One of the primary focuses of the meeting was the grain procurement process. The District Collectors were given full responsibility for ensuring the purchase of grain, with explicit orders to buy until the last grain to prevent any losses for the farmers. The Cabinet also decided grain affected by untimely rains would be procured at the minimum support price (MSP). Strict measures would be taken against the sellers of fake seeds.

The Cabinet also approved the allocation of Rs. 600 crores for the modernisation of government schools. Minister Sridhar Babu chaired the cabinet sub-committee to oversee the Amma Adarsh Schools.

Regarding the Kaleshwaram Project, Ponguleti said that the interim report by the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) on the Medigadda barrage was discussed. The Cabinet resolved to follow the NDSA's instructions, highlighting concerns about the barrage's ability to store water. He emphasised the commitment to providing water to farmers through any necessary temporary arrangements.

As per the directives of the Election Commission of India, the Cabinet did not take any other significant decisions. The discussion was confined to urgent matters, excluding the agricultural loan waiver.
