HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu announced that the government is considering the postponement of the Group II exam.

Addressing Group II candidates at the Secretariat on Friday, Bhatti Vikramarka stated that discussions with officials would explore the possibility of rescheduling the exam to the last week of December.

The Deputy CM has instructed Public Service Commission Chairman Mahender Reddy to examine the issue of postponement, following appeals from unemployed youth. He highlighted that in the past three months, 54,000 vacant posts have been filled.

Bhatti mentioned that a job calendar would be announced after identifying vacant posts, ensuring that competitive examinations are held without any overlap. He emphasized that the formation of Telangana State aimed to provide jobs for the youth and criticized the previous government for not filling vacancies over the last decade, which could have settled lakhs of families. "Revanth Reddy, as the PCC Chief, and I, as the CLP leader, have made the issues raised by the unemployed a part of our Party’s election agenda," he said. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has clearly stated that providing jobs to Telangana youth is a priority. "We are answerable to our conscience as we made an election promise," he added.

Bhatti Vikramarka assured that the government is not delaying job notifications to avoid salary burdens. Instead, the government is focused on ensuring that the youth settle down and their families prosper. He also disclosed that the government is taking swift measures to revamp the education system. He advised the youth not to fall into the traps set by vested interests, warning that threats or blackmail could lead to legal troubles and personal suffering.

He informed that the government is set to inaugurate Ambedkar Knowledge Centres in every Assembly constituency in the coming days to benefit those preparing for competitive examinations. These centres will be equipped with modern technology, offering free online coaching from 10 am to 5 pm. The services of top subject experts in the country will be utilized to train candidates, with lessons taught online from Hyderabad as the main center. Candidates can pose questions online and seek clarifications.

Bhatti Vikramarka assured the unemployed that every issue raised by them would be thoroughly examined. "You are our children. Our desire is that the resources of the State and your intelligence should not go to waste. This Indiramma government will listen to your problems and resolve them," he emphasized.

The Deputy CM said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has asked him to engage with Group II candidates and address their concerns.
