Telangana Govt allows Kalki 2898 AD movie special shows, hike in ticket rates

HYDERABAD: The Government of Telangana has permitted Vyjayanthi Movies the maker of Kalki 2898 AD movie to a screen special show at 5.30 am on June 27, 2024, with an enhanced rate of Rs. 200 (including GST).

The Government also permitted five shows for a period of eight days from June 27 to July 4 in all the released theatres in Telangana State and also permitted a hike of rates by Rs.75 for the single screen theatres and Rs. 100 for multiplex theatres respectively all across the State of Telangana for the said days.

The order said that the permission was granted temporarily subject to payment of tax to the Govemment on usual terms and conditions and for Kalki 2898 AD Movie screening only.

It further mentioned that all the District Collectors and licensing authorities in the Telangana State and the Commissioners of Police in the Telangana State concerned are requested to take necessary follow-up action accordingly in the matter.
