Telangana govt. approves mutual transfers of teachers

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Government has approved transfer requests of employees in the State. Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy held a meeting with the officials concerned to discuss the mutual transfers of employees and teachers and directed the authorities to immediately issue transfer orders to the employees who sought transfers. She also said that 2,558 employees would benefit from this decision.

The government implemented Government Order 317 under which 2,598 employees had applied for a transfer.

The government issued guidelines stating that those seeking mutual transfers would have to forego their service.

The Department of Education agreed to transfer those who have submitted a letter of intent agreeing to the terms of the order. With this, 1,260 contract documents were submitted and the government has taken steps to transfer them.
