Telangana Govt extends traffic challan concessions till February 15

HYDERABAD: In response to the tremendous public demand and economic challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic over the past two years, the Telangana Government has announced an extension of statewide concessions on traffic challans until February 15, 2024

The State government announced an 80 percent discount on the fine amount for two-wheeler and three-wheeler vehicles, 90 percent for TSRTC buses, and 60 percent for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) vehicles on pending e-Challans issued under the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 on December 26, 2023.

All the pending traffic challans can be cleared through online payment mode until January 31, 2024. The discounted compounding fee can be conveniently paid through various payment gateways, including Mee Seva, e Seva, T Wallet, Paytm, TS Online, and internet banking.

This waiver applied to vehicle owners across all police commissionerates and districts of Telangana. Vehicle owners can access details of pending e-challans by visiting the official website of Telangana Police's e-challan system.
