Telangana govt transfers 31 IAS officers; Shailaja Ramaiyer new Prl Secretary of Youth, Tourism

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Government on Friday effected transfers of 31 IAS officers. Special Chief Secretary Shashank Goel, Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer, and others figured in the list.
Dr Shashank Goel, a 1990 batch IQS official who had been waiting for a posting, has been transferred and is now posted as Director General, Dr. MCR HRD Institute & E.O. Special Chief Secretary to Government, succeeding the position of Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka, a 1995 batch IAS officer.
Shailaja Ramalyer, a 1997 batch officer, has been appointed as the next Principal Secretary to the Government, YAT&C Department, succeeding Sandeep Kumar Sultania, a 1998 batch officer.
Harichandana Dasari, a 2010 IAS officer, has been appointed as Director, AYUSH, succeeding M.Prashanti, IAS(2009) as FAC of the said posts.
Alagu Varsini V S., a 2012 officer, has been appointed as Director, Handlooms & Textiles and has been put in the FAC of the post of VC & MD, TS Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., succeeding Dr. Jyoti Buddha Prakash, a 2002 IAS official, of the above-mentioned posts.
Dr. Korra Lakshmi, a 2012 IAS officer, has been transferred and posted as Director, Sports, and has been placed in the FAC of the post of Director, State Art Gallery.
K. Hymavathi, a 2013 IAS officer awaiting posting, has been appointed as Director, AIDS Society in the existing position. K.Haritha, a 2013 IAS officer and Addl. Commissioner (ST) Punjagutta Division, has been transferred and assigned as Joint Secretary to Government, Finance Department.
