Telangana HC refuses to stay CCS notice to Sunil Kanugolu
Sunil Kanugolu received a notice from the CCS police under section 41(A) of the Criminal Procedure Code
HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court has ordered Sunil Kanugolu, a Congress poll strategist, to appear before the police on January 8 for a probe after refusing to grant a stay on the Hyderabad police's notice in connection with the cyber crime case. Additionally, the High Court requested that the police not to arrest him.
Sunil Kanugolu received a notice from the CCS police under section 41(A) of the Criminal Procedure Code. According to the notice, the investigation was connected to a complaint against him that was filed on December 24 under IPC sections 469 and 505 (2).
He was summoned for questioning over the alleged derogatory social media posts against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family members.
