HYDERABAD: Telangana State Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, along with sarpanches, MPPs, zilla parishad chairpersons, and officials concerned on Monday received 13 National awards under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Panchyat Satat Vikas Puraskar 2023 from the President of India Draupadi Murmu at an event held at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, Errabelli Dayakar Rao expressed happiness over bagging 8 Deen Dayal Upadhyay Panchayat Satat Vikas Awards and 5 Nanaji Deshmukh Sarvotthama Panchayat Satat Vikas Awards and congratulated the officials and the local body representatives for carrying out the various development programs under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Minister Errabelli also thanked the Union government for giving the awards and CM KCR for the cooperation extended by the latter to excel in the development of the villages. He advised the officials and public representatives to work hard in future as well to bag many more awards and set an example for the country,

Before the award function, a tea party was given by Union Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Giriraj Singh where Union Minister of State for Panchayat Raj Kapil Moreshwar Patil, Secretary of Central Panchayat Raj Department Sunil Kumar, Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao along with other central and state public representatives participated.

1 Goutampur village in Chenchupalli mandal of Bhadradri Kothagdem District bagged an award in Health Panchayat Division category.

2 Nellutla of Lingala Ghanpuram mandal in Janagaon district has won the award for the supply of abundant fresh water.

3 Kongatpalli village in Hanwada Mandal of Mahbubnagar District bagged an award under Social Security Villages Division

4 Ayapur village of Atamakur mandal in Suryapet district in the women-friendly villages category

5 Mandondi Village of Rajoli Mandal in Gadwal District bagged an award in the category of Villages with Poverty Alleviation and Livelihood Enhancement

6- Vikarabad District Moin Peta Mandal Cheemaldari village in Moinpeta mandal of Vikarabad district won an award under the Better Administration of Gram Panchayat category.

7 Sultanapur village of Eligad mandal in Peddapalli district bagged an award under the Clean and Green Panchayat category.

8- Gambhirrao Peta Village of Gambhirraopeta Mandal in Siricilla district won an award for providing Basic Infrastructure.

9. Timmapur L.M.D. of Karimnagar bagged Best Block (Mandala) Panchayats Award

10. Mulugu District bagged a best Zilla Praja Parishad award

11. Mukhara K Village of Adilabad district bagged the Gram Oorja Swaraj Vishesh Panchayat Puraskar award.

12. Kanha Village, Nandigama Mandal, Rangareddy District won an award in the Carbon Neutral Vishesh Panchayat Puraskar category.

5. Markook Erravelli of Siddipet district was selected for Non-Financial Incentive, Certificates Section, Gram Oorja Swaraj Vishesh Panchayat Puraskar.
