MULUGU: Telangana Police has said that they are in the process of filing a memo in court, requesting the removal of the names of Prof Haragopal, Prof Padmaja Shaw, V Raghunath, Gaddam Laxman, Gunti Ravinder, and Suresh Kumar from the list of accused in a case registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and IPC sections by Tadvai Police.

The case was registered in August, 2022 by the Tadvai Police in Mulugu district under Sections 120B, 147, 148, r/w 149 IPC, 10, 13, 18, 20, 38 of the UAPA Act, and Sec 25(1- B)(a) of the Arms Act. A statement released by Mulugu Superintendent of Police Gaush Alam on Saturday noted there was inadequate evidence linking those six accused in the case.
