Telangana Polls 2023: KCR files nomination papers at Gajwel

GAJWEL: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao filed his nomination from Gajwel on Thursday morning. Accompanied by local BRS leaders, KCR filed nominations without much fanfare at the office of the Returning Officer.

This is the third consecutive time that KCR is contesting from Gajwel. He won the seat in the 2014 and 2018 elections.

On November 4, KCR offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Konaipally and signed the nomination papers in the presence of the deity. He had been following this tradition since 1985.
