Telangana to formulate six new policies, to compete with world: Revanth Reddy

HYDERABAD: The Government of Telangana will introduce six new policies to boost industrial development in the State.
The decision was taken in a meeting held by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy with Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu and senior officials to discuss formulating a new industrial policy to drive growth in the state.
During the meeting, the officials outlined six new policies under consideration for industrial development: the MSME Policy, Export Policy, New Life Sciences Policy, Revised EV Policy, Medical Tourism Policy, and Green Energy Policy. They briefed the Chief Minister on the decisions and progress from previous meetings.
Revanth Reddy directed the officials to finalise the drafts of these policies before the end of the Model Code of Conduct. He said the new policies should enable Telangana to compete globally in industrial development. He emphasized the need for policies to benefit power loom and handloom workers to promote the state's textile industry.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to study successful industrial policies from other countries to ensure that Telangana's new policies would be globally competitive.
