Telangana Tribal girl Banothu Vennela conquers Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania

HYDERABAD: Banoth Vennela, a tribal girl from Somavaram Peta village in Machareddy Mandal of Kamareddy District in Telangana State, scaled the summit of Kilimanjaro on January 26, 2023.

She expressed gratitude to RS MP Joginpally Santosh Kumar for providing her with a financial aid of Rs 3 lakh, which enabled her to realise her goal.

She also thanked Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Green India Challenge organisers for their encouragement and assistance.

While congratulating the mountaineer, RS MP Santosh Kumar said that she not only brought honour to herself and her family, but also to the entire state of Telangana. He wished her the best of luck in her future endeavours.
