HYDERABAD: AICC leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will announce the ‘Women’s Declaration’ at the public meeting slated for July 30, in Mahbubnagar district.

Disclosing this after a meeting with Telangana in-charge Manikrao Thakre and TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy at his residence on Wednesday, Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkatreddy called upon people to get ready for the big fight as there were not even hundreds of days left for the elections.

Hinting at the possibility of a ‘Bus Yatra’ he said that the Congress leaders would join hands and work in unison to win the elections. “A decision in this regard will be taken in the Political Affairs Committee meeting,” he added.

Confirming the proposed public meeting to be addressed by Priyanka Gandhi he said that the party was keen on addressing the issues faced by women who account for 50 percent of the population.

He alleged that the State was run by police and lands of poor people were snatched away by the mighty rich through the Dharani portal. “People are observing all these things silently and will teach a befitting lesson to the BRS Government,” he observed. Daring Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to install a leader from backward classes as the Chief Minister of Telangana and said that only the Congress party had done justice for the BCs.
