HYDERABAD: Former MP from Nagarkarnool and the current Vice-President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee Dr Mallu Ravi questioned the recent decision of the State Government choosing Santhi Kumari as the Chief Secretary and said that a dalit should have been made the CS
He said that Rani Kumudini, a senior IAS officer from the 1988 batch, was more suitable for the position and was also a representative of the dalit community.
He said, "The Government advertises Dalit Bandhu scheme. However, when it came to choosing a leader, they didn't choose someone from that community. Why did Rani Kumudini, daughter of the late Pullanna IPS who worked as Hyderabad Police Commissioner, become the CS?"
