NIRMAL: A tribal woman in Nirmal district of Telangana has faced a bitter experience in her life by giving birth to her child on the road after the ambulance failed to arrive on time citing the lack of fuel.

The incident took place on Friday morning Korukanti Lavanya, a tribal pregnant woman belonging to remote village of Tulsipet in Pembi Mandal of Nirmal District called an ambulance after her labour pains. As there was no road access to the village, the local people assisted her in crossing the Dothi stream to get access to the ambulance.

However, the pregnant woman had to wait for four hours on the road with labour and give birth to her son as the ITDA ambulance did not turn up on time due to the lack of fuel.
