TRS activists attacked with stones in Palivela

MUNUGODE: Tension gripped Palivela village of Munugode mandal on Tuesday after the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) activists were attacked with stones, allegedly by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers.

Reportedly, the TRS activists were on their way to Telangana Minister for Municipal Adminsitration and Urban Development K T Rama Rao's road show when they were attacked.

The incident happened in the presence of BJP's Etala Rajender, shifting suspicion on the BJP. The two parties' activists were seen throwing stones and lathis at each other. Police rushed to the area and controlled the situation.
