TRS, AIMIM trying to disrupt Telangana's peace: Bandi Sanjay
Bandi Sanjay said that the KCR-ruled State Government, along with the AIMIM, was trying to push all the blame on the BJP
HYDERABAD: Telangana's BJP President Bandi Sanjay, on Thursday said that the KCR-ruled State Government, along with the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), was trying to push all the blame on the BJP for the ongoing communal disturbances in Hyderabad to hide the 'real scams' going on in the State.
He said that the KCR family was trying to cover their corrupt practices and shift the public's attention to these disturbances. He also said that stand-up comic Munawar Faruqui's show was the reason behind the disruption of communal harmony, said Sanjay adding that IT Minister K T Rama Rao was involved in letting the show happen.
The BJP's State President said that it was the combined propaganda of the TRS and the AIMIM to gain vote bank by using the incident. He said that only the BJP spoke for Old City's development and they had promised to get good communication and other facilities to Old City. He said that because of the prominence of the AIMIM in Old City, there was no development.
He said that the entire country was paying attention to what was happening in Telangana. He also said that the nation was comparing Telangana with the 'Sri lanka-situation'. He asked people not to fall prey to the conspiracies that the TRS and AIMIM were together hatched against Telangana.
Bandi Sanjay refrained from making a statement on what BJP MLA Raja Singh said on what ignited the disturbances.
