TRS leaders hold protests across the State against GST hike by Centre
The TRS party workers, public representatives and others held a protest today at Medchal Malkajgiri District Centre against the BJP.
HYDERABAD: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party workers, public representatives and others held a protest today at Medchal Malkajgiri District Centre against the BJP-led Central Government hiking the GST on milk and dairy products. Telangana Minister of Labour and Employment Malla Reddy, MLC Shambhipur Raju and others participated in the protest.
TRS MLA Aroori Ramesh also held protests against the GST hike in Warangal. He said that the increase in GST showed bad governance. Aroori Ramesh said that the prices of petrol and diesel were having a severe impact on the agriculture sector. He said that the Centre did not pay attention to Telangana.

TRS MPs also protested before the Parliament building in New Delhi. They, along with opposition leaders, like Rahul Gandhi, took up the protest by displaying dairy products and LPG cylinders.
