TSPSC has decided to prepare new set of question papers for the upcoming competitive examinations to be conducted by the public service commission
HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has decided to prepare new set of question papers for the upcoming competitive examinations to be conducted by the public service commission in the wake of the leakage of certain question papers.
However, the TSPSC has announced that the schedule of the examination would remain the same with the Horticulture Officer exam on April 4, the Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector exam on April 23, the Agriculture Officer exam on April 25, Group-1 Mains exams from June 5 to 12, Group-4 on July 1, Group-2 on August 29 and 30 respectively.
The TSPSC Board would appoint subject experts to prepare question papers and take adequate measures to avoid problems such as leakage of question papers. In the wake of the recent hacking of question papers, the commission decided to change the subject experts as well and started the exercise in that direction.
The issue of leakage of TSPSC question papers has caused a stir across the state and evoked an uproar from all the quarters. The police who registered a case found that the question papers were leaked by an employee of the Service Commission at the behest of a woman who works as a teacher in government residential school for money.
The Government of Telangana, which took the incident seriously, constituted a Special Investigation Team to investigate the matter and it is found that as many as five examination question papers were leaked.
