UoH signs MoU with Karnataka's Centre for e-Governance

HYDERABAD: The School of Computer and Information Sciences (SCIS), University of Hyderabad (UoH) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Center for e-Governance (CeG), the government of Karnataka on Wednesday. The MoU was signed by the registrar of UoH, Dr. Devesh Nigam and the project director of CEG KS Shivaramu.

The MoU was signed for two years. According to the agreement, the collaboration will aid the translation of the English language to Kannada, Kannada to English, Hindi to Kannada and Kannada to Hindi through Machine Aided Translation systems (MAT). The MoU is set to carry out research and development activities towards the development of MAT systems in Kannada, English and Hindi languages.
