UPSC results 2022: GVS Pavan, Sri Sai Ashrith top Telangana in Civil Services

HYDERABAD: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the Civil Services 2022 exam results on Tuesday. Once again, women dominated the top ranks, with Ishita Kishore securing AIR 1, followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra.

G V S Pavan, a student at the CBS IAS Coaching Institute in Hyderabad, emerged as the highest rank winner among Telangana aspirants. He bagged 22nd rank while Sri Sai Ashrith came second to him in the state by securing 40th rank in the 2022 UPSC examinations.

Mahesh Kumar Kamtam (200), Ravula Jayasimha Reddy (217), P Shravan Kumar (222), Challa Kalyani (285), Eppalapally Susmitha (384), Dongre Revaiah (410), Pathipaka Sai Kiran (460) and Ruthvik Sai Kotte (558) are the other top rankers from Telangana.

The UPSC CSE preliminary examination was held on June 5, 2022 and the results were released on June 22. The main examination was conducted from September 16 to 25 while the results were declared on December 6. The interviews were concluded on May 18, 2023.
